DIRECTIONS
- Decide which partner will do the asking in the first round, and who will do the answering.
- Follow the dialogue below. Partner 1 is the person doing the asking. If you are partner 2 it is important that you answer without hesitation or second-guessing.
- After the dialogue is over, give the partner 2 time to jot some notes.
- Switch roles.
PARTNER 1: Feel into a question that you have in your life. Ask yourself, Is this a real question? Is there real, authentic curiosity here? Am I really available for inspiration? (In other words, do you sincerely seek an answer to this question, and are you willing to approach it in earnest, that is, with an open heart and mind?)
PARTNER 2 does not have to elaborate on the details of the question or problem. She just has to answer YES/NO. (Partner 1 will repeat above until the answer is YES.)
PARTNER 1: Complete this sentence: “My head says…”
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: Feel into it. “And my head says…”
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: Feel it. See what you notice. Now take a breath.
PARTNER 2: (Breathes.)
PARTNER 1: Come to the present moment. What are you looking at?
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: Drop into your heart space and let out a sigh. “Aaaaaggghhhh…” [This opens the throat chakra, the chimney of the heart.]
PARTNER 2: (Sighs.)
PARTNER 1: “My heart says…” Now feel it.
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: “And my heart says…”
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: “And my heart says…”
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: And is that true?
PARTNER 2: (Responds immediately.)
PARTNER 1: Feel the difference in vibration between your head and your heart.
