Happy 21st birthday to Tony Turner! This photo is of him working on my “What do you bring to the table” activity. To know him is to love his big, gentle smile.
Last year I only knew him from the thoughtful pieces he wrote for Represent Magazine and it was such a thrill to meet him at this summer’s YAB retreat. This fall was monumental for him: he took over as YAB’s president and also started college. Recently I had the privilege of having him over for an office hour, and Tony shared his life’s dream of creating anime.
For someone so gifted, you are so unassuming. You wear the mantle of leadership so lightly. Wishing you all the best in the coming year, Tony! I’m so excited to see what you will accomplish.
